Posing with a (surely haunted) full-size replica of Richard Nixon at Seattle’s Museum of Flight.
Hi, I’m Natalie—a researcher, writer, and strategist who loves finding (and sharing!) the stories and makers behind big ideas. I create exhibits, books, websites, and interactives that help people connect with history, technology, and each other.
I’ve developed content for projects with Microsoft, Amazon, the University of Washington, and the Washington State Fair, as well as smaller cultural organizations with big stories to tell. Before starting my own practice in 2021, I worked at Belle & Wissell, Co., where I fell in love with translating complex concepts into experiences that feel effortless and human.
I live in Seattle with my husband, our son, and our rescue dog, Otto. Because I read so much nonfiction for work, my off-hours are usually filled with sci-fi and fantasy novels. I’m also a competitive New York Times Mini Crossword puzzler and trivia devotee, for which I’m currently trying to improve my anagram-solving skills (results pending). When I’m not writing or word-wrangling, I’m probably making something—I knit, crochet, and quilt, and hope to learn how to weave someday soon.
