Hello there!

I live in Seattle with my husband and two dogs, Otto and Ted. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but found my forever home here in the Pacific Northwest. I graduated from the University of Washington, where I studied Art History with a focus on contemporary photography. I’ve worked in retail and the art world, apprenticed at a custom framing shop, and eventually found my way back to what I love best—research and writing.

Outside of work, I read lots of sci-fi and fantasy, bake for my mental health, and love a weekend spent DIY-ing or gardening. And I have the bad habit of starting too many craft projects to finish.
