Stories of Asurion
Asurion Nashville HQ
This immersive, whimsical media installation transforms Asurion’s lobby into a living expression of its mission: helping people make sense of their technology. The experience celebrates Asurion employees’ real-world impact through pleasantly surprising reveals, responsive storytelling, motion, and sound.
I served as writer and content developer with Belle & Wissell, Co., collaborating with the Asurion team, HASTINGS architecture, and illustrator Jen Backman to craft the installation’s narrative and interpretive framework. I worked closely with the client to identify optimal products, services, and storylines to further Asurion’s brand goals. The environment combines an illustrated mural with multi-sensory animated media delivered through projection, sound, and motion detection. The experience senses presence and responds dynamically, creating a touchless, interactive narrative that shifts with visitor movement.
Across five story zones, I developed true-to-life vignettes inspired by Asurion employees and the customers they help every day. Each zone can be activated independently or in unison, allowing for both individual discovery and group engagement. The result is an expressive, people-centered experience that connects brand values to lived experience—reminding every visitor that technology is, at its core, about human connection.
